COMPREHENSION AND COMPOSITION
Essay, creative writing. This aims to develop children's imaginations and ignite their creative spark. Putting sentences together to animate the story they have thought of, experimenting with types of tenses, clauses and active/passive voice. The ability to understand and integrate text.
GRAMMAR
This is about parts of speech and punctuation. Learning about nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, articles, prepositions, conjunctions, punctuation, determiners and quantifiers.
VOCABULARY
Extending and widening vocabulary with the use of idioms, phrases and dialogues. Introduction to new, intriguing words, synonyms and antonyms, that children can include in their daily vocabulary.
